We’d like to announce our first judge! Weston Mcelroy is no stranger to sorting stock! He was a member of both Blinn College and THE Texas A&M University where he was a member of their livestock judging teams. He is now the Assistant Livestock Judging Coach at Texas A&M. He will be judging Saturday morning ABGA/JABGA show and showmanship! We are excited to have Weston here!

Well, we are packed up and heading home in the morning. We just wanted to take a second to thank EVERYONE who attended the show, the 3 judges who traveled down to Florida to sort your stock, ALL OF THE SPONSORS who helped make this weekend possible, and most of all our volunteers. Travis kept the classes moving in and out smoothly, ran errands for stuff we forgot, and put up with Livia all weekend. He is not a “livestock” guy but he’s a hell of a guy to travel 3 hours for zero pay just to help. Last but not least….WADE, the comedy, the announcer, the backup placings keeper, and my right hand. Thank you for also donating your time helping us out, it’s always fun and we couldn’t do it without you! Sydney of SRB Photography LLC, thank you for leaving your husband and new kiddo to come and capture every moment of the weekend. We all love what you do and love hanging with you too! If I forgot someone I apologize, just yell at us later…..we are tired. I have attached the photo link below!

And last but not least, Saturday afternoon Catherine Riley will sort your goats!

Catherine Riley From Smithfield, Kentucky
Catherine graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Equine Business Management and participated on the Livestock Judging Team. Catherine earned a Master's degree from the University of Illinois in Agriculture Leadership and Education.

Since graduation she served as manager of the North American International Livestock Exposition, show manager for Newton Farms and Director of Community Development for the ABGA.

She is currently fulfilling a lifelong dream, as the manager and co-owner of Eclipse Livestock and raising market goats, wether dams and commercial does and is continuing to develop the business as a premier Small Ruminate Stud and Reproductive Service Provider.
