Smiths Station, Alabama driver Myles Pike captured the $2,005 to win Annual Jonathan “Mr. NASCAR” Merritt Memorial at the 35th Annual Ice Bowl, topping a stout field of more than 60 Sunshine Compact Series/SCDRA drivers on a foggy Saturday night at Talladega Short Track . Pike held off Billy Tidwell, with 18th starting Lee “Tintman” Hutchinson charging to third. Logan McVey finished fourth, with Tanner Jones rounding out the top five.

Lineups have been posted on MyRacePass for the 18 cars locked in and the 3 B-mains.

It’s the final day of the Ice Bowl here at Talladega Short Track.
We added one new entry, bringing our total car count to 63.

Today’s Schedule

• 6 Heat Races – 6 laps, Top 3 transfer
• 3 B-Mains – 8 laps, Top 2 transfer
• Jonathan “Mr. Nascar” Merritt Memorial – 20 laps, $2,005 to win

Heat race winners will draw in tech to determine their starting positions in the top 6 of the main event.

The track will also host a Non-Qualifier Race to close out the night.
Cars finishing 3rd–9th in the B-Mains will transfer to the Non-Qualifier.
