What a day. What a turnout. What a way to remember Tye.

As we wrap up the first Tye Wood Memorial Fishing Tournament, there really arenโ€™t enough words to express how thankful we are for every single person who had a part in making this event what it was.

To our amazing sponsors, Cypress & Springs RV Resort for welcoming us and giving us a place to call home for the day, everyone who donated items, every angler who launched a boat, every person who helped set up, sell shirts and tickets, haul things around, work behind the scenes, or simply showed up to support us โ€” THANK YOU.

And most importantly, thank you to Tyeโ€™s family for giving us their blessing and allowing us to create something that not only keeps his memory alive, but will help support other young anglers in his name. โค๏ธ

We are honestly still processing everything from yesterday. The turnout for our very first tournament absolutely blew us away, and we know there are plenty of numbers to total, photos to go through, people to thank and details to share in the days ahead.

But hereโ€™s what we already know:

It was a success. And our first mission was accomplished. โค๏ธ

And this is only the beginning.
