Another one of my absolute favorite weekends of the year competed! Four future BASI Pilates certified instructors completed their in-person training getting them one step closer to doing amazing things in the world through Pilates! They worked their booties off and I know without even asking they are feeling it today! But to be sore and inspired, full of ambition with a heart on fire is the best feeling when working towards a goal and career. I can't wait to see what each of these incredible ladies is going to do in the near future and the impact they're going to make in the Pilates community.
And one of the best parts, they got to learn from one of the absolute best in the industry, my friend and mentor, Laura who has been teaching Pilates 16+ years and BASI staff for the last 5. It was overall an amazing weekend.. I get so much joy and pride seeing future instructors recognizing the importance of getting certified the right way to further spread a true Pilates practice within their communities. My heart is so full!

🤩TWO YEARS🥳 Happy Pilates-versary Sheree!! Anyone who knows Sheree Conque McNease knows she's a firecracker- smart, savvy, ambitious and driven on an entirely different level than most, with a big personality and even bigger heart! She loves fiercely and wholeheartedly.. she's someone you want in your life because she inspires just by the way she lives and loves! When we met, we clicked instantly! After babying a hip surgery for a little too long, she needed more mobility but I've gotten so much more out of our relationship. From business advice, lessons in being a mother and part of a loving family, to constantly being challenged to have more drive and aspirations - I get so much out of our time together and it's disguised as a Pilates session.

I love you Sheree!! I'm so proud of the progress you've made over the last 2 years and I look forward to many many more years together! Congratulations on this incredible milestone! 🤍

🤩ONE YEAR🥳 Another name on the wall!! When an existing client wanted to bring a "friend" in we didn't even make the connection that we had the same friend until Jessica walked in the door! 😆 Jessica is a church friend turned client and I just love how Pilates can be a platform to develop and grow relationships! She came in hesitant with back and previous knee issues and she's now feeling even stronger and more balanced than ever! To know Jessica is to love her! She is just as passionate in her prayers for you as she is hilarious in conversation. I never have to wonder what she's thinking because it's always written all over her face. I absolutely love having her in the studio.. there is never a dull moment!

Congratulations on your Pilates-versary, Jessica! I'm so glad our mutual friend made this connection! I look forward to many more years walking this Pilates journey together!! ❤️

Within the next year or so I will be hiring.. sooner or even later for the right person. So why am I saying this now? Because your certification matters and, on average, it takes anywhere from 6 months to a year to get certified when you do it the right way.

🤩TWO YEARS🤩 Happy Pilates-versary Shayne Cormier Laughlin!!! To know Shayne is to love her! She's the life of the party! & you never have to guess what she's thinking or how she's feeling.. which makes more advanced Pilates sessions quite interesting! 😁 She works hard and loves BIG! She shows up not only for herself here in the studio but for the ones she loves.. definitely someone you want in your corner and I absolutely love having her in my studio and life! The last two years she has grown incredibly stronger, progressed in her practice beautifully, has become more balanced and mindful, worked through some challenging obstacles, and become even more committed and diligent along the way!

I am so proud of all your growth the last two years and look forward to many many more years practicing Pilates and just doing life together! Congratulations!!! I love you! ♥️♥️♥️

🤩TWO YEARS🤩 I absolutely love making these posts!! Two years of consistency is worthy of all the celebrations! It's super cool to see someone progress over time while staying dedicated to their practice and themselves. And it's incredibly humbling knowing they've remained loyal for 2+ years! 🥹

I absolutely adore Laura! She brings such an easygoing energy but determined grit and unwavering perseverance. She's mentally strong, physically tough.. but she also brings a lot of wit and laughs to our sessions! And as my husband would say, she's just really cool! :)

I'm so proud to be in this journey together and look forward to many more years of Pilates and corgi talk! Congratulations girl!! ♥️♥️♥️

I almost forgot to post this last picture.. it's from a few weeks ago but Dr. Briley searched so diligently for an egg every time she was in the studio I cannot not post it! Believe it or not, there are still two eggs hidden somewhere in the studio! 😆 Happy hunting!!

🤩ONE YEAR🥳 This lady right here has come an unbelievably long way in such a short time! I'm so impressed and incredibly proud! She's learned to slow down, focus, she's strengthened her coordination, boosted her confidence, and, really, she makes the whole process so much fun! I love watching her envelopment of the practice as she immerses herself in honing her skills! It truly makes my heart so happy when it just clicks and I see someone appreciating and loving Pilates for all that it is and meant to be! And even more, I love our conversations about business, travel, and our tiny little dancers (ballerinas)!

Congratulations Lindsey Cutler! I love having you in the studio and it's been such a cool honor to watch your practice, develop and grow over time! Thank you for including me in your Pilates journey! Cheers to many many more years together!! 💙🩵🤍

As passionate as I am about teaching Pilates, I'm equally passionate about bringing in BASI Pilates staff to facilitate an in-person teacher training! These weekends help instructor hopefuls get reputable education and a hands-on experience to get certified the right way. This past weekend was a complete blast as I had 5 future instructors in the studio learning from my friend and mentor, Heather Gradke!

Heather was working through the process to become staff when I was going through the training to get certified so this weekend was such a cool, full circle moment!

As always, Heather was brilliant, thoughtful, passionate and precise in her teaching and the ladies here to learn were eager, focused, and full of zest and energy! It was overall an amazing weekend and I can't wait for the next one end of May!

I'm so grateful for an incredible Pilates family established through BASI! The staff is exceptional and the community is always so warm, welcoming, full of life and passion!
