Are you interested in ancient civilizations?
Remember, all times are simultaneous.
It is entirely possible to be building a civilization
that you are now studying,
to be interpreting ancient records
that you yourself wrote,
and to be uncovering roads that you yourself built.
There are overlaps in space and time.
Since all times exist simultaneously,
ideas are not confined to any particular era.
They are not dependent upon preexisting ideas,
nor are they limited by what has
already been experienced.
Ideas exist beyond space and time.
A rigid focus on linear time can close you off
from many ideas that would
otherwise be available.
Because of this, ideas can seem to move
in either direction.
An idea from what you call the future
can appear in the past,
and an idea from the past
can appear in the present.
Whether those ideas become
practical realities depends upon
how they are received and acted upon.
Some of the most sophisticated art
has come from the distant past.
Information from civilizations considered lost
is still available, just as
your own knowledge is available to them.
An open mind allows access
to these connections.
Humanity is exploring its challenges
simultaneously through many civilizations
and many periods of history.
Different cultures choose
different structures and assumptions,
yet all operate within
the broader framework of physical existence.
What appears to be ancient history
is still occurring.
Ancient peoples are singing their chants now,
at the same time those chants
are being translated now.
Time is far more transparent than it appears.
Structures from other eras
exist alongside those you presently perceive.
Many realities share the same coordinates,
yet your focus determines
which of them you experience.
Changing that focus
changes what becomes
available to awareness.
The inner self is already aware of these realities.
It selects and presents information
according to your interests and intentions.
If you are deeply interested in history,
knowledge from many sources
can become available to you.
Under certain conditions, awareness
may even move through these
intersections and connect directly
with the era that interests you.
Conscious intent determines
the kind of information received.
Without interest, little is noticed.
With strong interest,
meaningful connections become possible.
You may be building a civilization that
you are currently studying.
You may be translating records you once wrote.
You may be uncovering roads you once constructed.
At other levels, your civilization
is already in the past,
while in others it has not yet appeared.
There is constant interaction
between these realities.
Because of this, the past
is never fixed or completed.
It is continually affected by the present
and the future,
just as the present is influenced
by what appears to be the past.
The pyramids exist
as more than physical matter,
though they are usually perceived
only in physical terms.
There are important aspects of the pyramids
that remain misunderstood.
Many of the symbols associated with them
were intended to be sounded
rather than simply read.
These sounds created reverberations,
and some of those reverberations
were said to open pathways to knowledge
that remains undiscovered
by conventional means.
The Egyptians were assisted
in the construction of the pyramids,
and part of that knowledge involved
an understanding of sound.
Sound affects living things.
It can aid healing, influence matter,
and strengthen structures.
It has uses that are not yet fully understood.
Consider the sounds connected with images.
Think specifically of the pyramids
and notice what sounds arise
within your awareness.
Allow inner sounds, familiar or unfamiliar,
to enter consciousness.
Let them evoke whatever
naturally comes from them.
Try looking at objects and imagining their sound.
This applies not only to physical objects
but also to the body and its organs.
Let the sounds bring forth
whatever impressions naturally emerge.
There is a profound relationship
between sound and time.
Time can appear as sound,
and sound can influence the experience of time.
Sound can separate elements
from one another or bind them together.
It can be used to create pathways
through dimensions,
both microscopic and vast.
The properties of sound are far greater
than generally understood.
Sound can act as a binder,
a separator,
and a means of opening connections
that would otherwise remain inaccessible.
Think also of sound
in connection with creative work.
Consider the sounds that might bring
greater vitality,
strength,
and endurance to what you create.
Reality is far richer than it appears,
and there is constant interaction
between all times,
all civilizations,
and all dimensions of experience.
