THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT!!!

PH Wrestling is growing, and we want our community around the program to grow with it. We are looking for more parents, families and supporters who want to get involved, bring new ideas, volunteer when they can and help us continue creating opportunities for our wrestlers. Joining us does NOT mean committing to every fundraiser, meeting or event. Many hands doing a little can accomplish far more than a few hands trying to do it all. Whether you can give an hour at a fundraiser, lend a hand at an event, attend a booster meeting or simply find one place throughout the season to jump in, IT MATTERS!

Our wrestlers are watching the example we set today. Let’s show them what it looks like when a community comes together behind its kids!

🍔 ANOTHER FRIDAY, ANOTHER PORK BURGER STAND HANGOUT! 🏈

We’re back at it THIS FRIDAY for another night of football, pork burgers and PH Wrestling taking over the stand!

📅 Friday, August 28
🏈 PH vs. Buchanan (MI)
⏰ Game starts at 7:00 PM
📍 Prairie Heights High School

If you’ve worked one of these with us before, you already know we actually have a pretty good time back there! 😂

We want our wrestlers there working, hanging out with their teammates, probably giving Coach Forbes a hard time, and helping us sling some pork burgers while we’re at it!

WRESTLERS: grab a teammate and come hang out with us!

We also know many of our wrestlers are multi-sport athletes and may be playing football, competing in another sport, or have another commitment that keeps them from being able to work every event. That’s okay!
What Coach DOES expect is communication. If you can’t be there, let Coach Forbes know. Being part of a team means communicating and being accountable, even when you have somewhere else you need to be.

And parents, you can help your wrestler earn money too! When a parent volunteers at one of these fundraisers, your wrestler still receives credit toward their gear, camps and other wrestling expenses for the time YOU work. So if your wrestler is on the football field Friday night, you can still jump behind the stand and help them out!

The more wrestlers AND parents we have, the easier it is on everyone! Honestly, these nights are a pretty fun way for our wrestling families to hang out and get to know each other before the season starts.

📣 REMINDER - WRESTLING BOOSTER CLUB MEETING TOMORROW!

We would LOVE to see some new faces at our Prairie Heights Wrestling Booster Club meeting!

When we say we want more people involved we mean it!

You do NOT have to be a board member.
You do NOT have to commit to every fundraiser or event.
You do NOT have to have a high school wrestler.

If you have a wrestler in our program, have a younger wrestler who will eventually be coming through the program, are a wrestling alumni, family member, community supporter, or simply want to help Prairie Heights Wrestling continue to grow, we would love to have you there!

Bring your ideas! Ask questions! Find out what we’re working toward! Maybe there’s one event you’d love to help with or an idea you think could make our program better.

More people doesn’t just mean more help, it means more ideas, more connections and more opportunities for our wrestlers!

We’re working hard to continue building this program from our youngest wrestlers all the way through high school, and we want our wrestling families and community to be a part of it.

Our Prairie Heights wrestlers will be running the concession stand at the Middle School Football game on Tuesday, August 25!

This is another opportunity for our wrestlers to step up, help out and represent PH Wrestling outside of the wrestling room.

We would LOVE to see a good group of wrestlers there! The more hands we have, the easier it is on everyone and these events are a great way to continue building a program where everyone pitches in.

Summer is wrapping up, school is back in session, and that means WRESTLING SEASON IS GETTING CLOSER! 🤼‍♂️🤼‍♀️

This Friday night is the football scrimmage, and we need **6 high school wrestlers AND some wrestling parents** to help at the porkburger stand!

📍 **Prairie Heights High School**
⏰ **Be there at 5:30 PM**

We’ll need help with:
🚚 Unloading the truck
🔧 Setting up the stand
🍔 Making & cooking burgers
🙌 Serving and keeping things running throughout the evening

💰 **HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLERS — YOUR HELP EARNS YOU MONEY!**

The volunteer hours you put in will earn money toward wrestling gear or camps. So this is a great opportunity to help the program while also earning toward your own wrestling goals!

👊 **PARENTS — WE NEED YOU TOO!**

We would love to have some parents come out and help alongside the wrestlers. Even if you can only help for part of the evening, **your help would be greatly appreciated!**

These fundraisers are what allow us to provide our wrestlers with opportunities, equipment, gear, camps, and other things throughout the season.
