We are excited to welcome Coach Tyler Routon to LaGrange Academy! Coach Routon will lead our Girls Basketball program and oversee our Future Warriors program.

Coach Routon brings 17 years of coaching experience and a résumé that speaks for itself. At Marion County, he led the girls' basketball program to 36 wins and back-to-back state playoff berths. Before that, he was part of a McIntosh High School staff that won a region title and a baseball program that reached the state championship.

A University of Alabama graduate, Coach Routon also brings 8 years of classroom experience as a special education teacher, making him a perfect fit for LaGrange Academy.

Tyler, his wife Lacey, and their son Rhys are joining the Warrior family, and we could not be more excited for what is ahead.

We are excited to welcome Madison Morgan as our new Middle School Volleyball Coach! 🏐

A LaGrange native and 2018 LaGrange High School graduate, Madison was a four-year Varsity starter and Captain, earning MVP and All-Region honors her Junior and Senior years. She brings 8 years of travel club volleyball experience as both a player and coach, along with a BA in English from Kennesaw State University.

Madison is passionate about helping our Middle School athletes master fundamentals, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun. Best of all, she gets to build the LaGrange Academy Volleyball Program alongside her mentor and dad, Head Coach Scott Lewis!

When she's not in the gym, you'll find her with her husband, John, and daughter, Evie Lynne. 🧡💙

Congratulations to our Boys and Girls Tennis teams on an incredible season! 🎾

Yesterday, both teams competed against Grace Christian Academy in the State Championship Finals. Our Boys claimed back-to-back State Championships, and our Girls competed hard, finishing as State Runner-Up.

Congratulations to Georgia Martin, who will compete in the GIAA State Track and Field Tournament this Friday! Georgia has been a standout performer throughout her high school career, qualifying for state every year and earning 2 Region Championships in discus.

Today, we held a Warrior Walk to send off both our girls' and boys' tennis teams as they head to state! 🎾 Our girls compete today in Macon, and our boys follow tomorrow. Good Luck, Warriors!

🎾 BACK TO BACK STATE CHAMPIONS! Alex Jarvholm brought home the Class A State title in Boys Singles, and Raayan Ahmed finished as Runner-Up. In Boys Doubles, Martin Zachry and Michael Zerla earned Runner-Up honors as well.

LaGrange Academy has now claimed back-to-back Boys Single State Championship titles. Our boys showed up and showed out. Congratulations!!

Georgia Martin had a standout performance at the Heard County Region tune-up meet on April 14th.

She opened the meet with a season-best throw in the shot put, then broke her own school record in the discus on her very first attempt, finishing 6th in a field of 18 throwers.

Georgia currently is ranked 1st in Region 1 and is chasing back-to-back region championships.
