To own your narrative is to have agency in your life, professional and personally. It takes courage and confidence to pursue a life of fulfillment and authenticity.

Because the only constant in life is change, it can be hard to navigate it alone constantly. You may be climbing one face of the mountain one day with a clear path, and another one the next day that isn’t as straightforward. There is nothing easy about change but it can be so rewarding once you reach the peak!

As a coach, I see myself as someone who can be a guide at basecamp for someones climb. I blend my approach to be filled compassion and softness, coupled with holding accountability. I whole heartedly believe that individuals will find & have the answers the need. They bring me in as a coach to help clear the way, build confidence, shine light on other perspectives, and support them without judgment.

My new logo is an opportunity to reflect my mantra, my love for metaphors and imagery , my energy in femininity and strength, and my perspective of both the wholeness of a circle and the openness we can have too.

I spoke to a fellow coach last week who reminded me of the ever important question, “How can you serve right now?” I’m thinking about this a lot today as so many are grieving, feeling division, and are full of emotions - I know I am.

Truthfully, I didn’t know if I should post about this today, but I’m hopeful that this will give a few of you small glimmers of hope, support, and community.

So many people have been impacted these last couple of years by layoffs, including myself and my former colleagues, and all I want to do is serve this population because I know how it feels - especially as we navigate the next couple of months & holiday season.

If you were impacted by a layoff or your role was eliminated, I created an hour-long workshop for you. If you’re unsure about what to do next, need to hit the reset button, want to be with community, and want some tools and resources on how to move forward, this is for you.

The Confidently Own Your Narrative Podcast has launched its tenth episode! I’m so proud of this project, and honored by the guests that I’ve had on. This started with me walking around my living room telling my own story for the first episode.

Now, I’m interviewing people I admire and have important stories to tell about how they have made important career and personal decisions in their lives, and how they are now living their lives authentically and unapologetically.
