We’re looking for teams to represent LAHA in the upcoming Planet Ice Gumbo Cook-Off on Saturday, November 14!

You don’t have to be a restaurant or professional cook! Grab your friends, family, coworkers, or business and put together a team. If you’ve got a gumbo recipe you’re proud of, we want you! 👀

The upcoming hockey season will be here before we know it, and we’re already putting in the work behind the scenes!

Today, our LAHA crew sat down to talk through the upcoming season, Jr. Drillers hockey, events, fundraising, sponsorship opportunities, and some exciting ideas for continuing to grow youth hockey here in Acadiana.

There’s a lot that goes into a hockey season long before the first puck drops, and we’re excited about what’s ahead for our players and families.

2026–27… let’s make it a good one. ❤️🖤🏒

🏒 That’s a wrap on another incredible week of Snype Sports Camp! 🏒

What an amazing group of athletes! This week was filled with hard work, skill development, competition, new friendships, and plenty of fun both on and off the ice. We couldn’t be more proud of the effort every camper brought each and every day.

A huge thank you to our coaches for sharing their knowledge, encouraging our players, and helping make this camp such a memorable experience. And thank you to all of our parents for trusting us with your athletes and supporting them throughout the week.

To wrap up camp, we recognized a few players with special awards for their outstanding effort, attitude, leadership, improvement, and dedication. While only a handful of names were called, every camper should be proud of the progress they made this week.

👏🏻 Congratulations to all of our award recipients! Your hard work did not go unnoticed.

Thank you for making this year’s Snype Sports Camp one to remember. We hope to see everyone back on the ice again soon!
