Great to see Steve Deakin Pickleball back in action and on the podium!

Truth be told, Steve was my inspiration, when he was playing against the young bucks in the PPA Tour & APP Tour.

I said to myself, if he can hang with them, so can I! Now I just train and enter tournaments in preparation for my Sr Pro debut in the coming 2 yrs.

Steve - I’m sure more aspiring Sr Pros (including myself) would love to hear your story. How about an interview for my audience?

A true pickleball love story ❤️ Pickleball players Johanna S. Payne and Kenny Beshers met a year ago at last year’s Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships. They are now engaged and came back to Indian Wells this week for their one-year anniversary!

The pair plan to travel to and play at pickleball tournaments together in future years. We couldn’t be more thrilled for Johanna and Kenny — congratulations to the happy couple!

YES!!! This is MY end goal. To play in this tour in the next 3 years. For now, I gotta keep getting better, drilling, learning and making sure my body is in peak performance by the time I get there.
