🏈 865 ELITE ADULT FLAG FOOTBALL – WEEK 2 PREVIEW 🏈
Week 1 is in the books... now it's time to see who can build momentum and who can bounce back.
After an action-packed opening weekend, every game in Week 2 has major implications. Undefeated teams are looking to stay on top of the standings, while teams searching for their first win are hungry to prove Week 1 was just the beginning.
Lucky 7’s Vs 865 Junk
To kick off Week 2, we’ve got a solid matchup on deck. Both teams stumbled out of the gate last week and will be looking to bounce back in a big way. The new-look Lucky 7’s take on the always-competitive 865 Junk at 10 AM. On paper, this is one of the closest matchups of the week, and we expect it to come down to the final possessions. We’re giving a slight edge to 865 Junk to sneak away with a hard-fought victory.
Coat King’s Vs. Past Our Primetime
After falling on a last-minute drive in Week 1, Coat Kings are looking to get back in the win column against the veteran squad of Past Our Primetime. POPT survived an overtime thriller against C.A.B. and enters the weekend with momentum at 1-0. Both quarterbacks are capable of lighting up the scoreboard, so expect plenty of fireworks in this one. We’re predicting Coat Kings pull out a close win in a shootout.
Knoxville Knights Vs. C.A.B.
At noon, the undefeated Knights square off against a hungry C.A.B. team still searching for its first win. This matchup has all the ingredients for a competitive, high-scoring battle, but C.A.B. will have its hands full with the Knights’ stingy defense. Their veteran defensive end will need to have a big day to slow down the Knights’ attack. We’re calling for a two-score Knoxville Knights victory.
Straw Hat Crew Vs. Parlay
This is the heavyweight showdown of the week. The blazing speed and relentless energy of Straw Hat Crew collide with the depth and star power of Parlay. Talent is loaded on both sidelines, making this one of the most intriguing games of Week 2. It could truly go either way, but the big question is whether Parlay’s defense can keep up with the explosive playmakers of Straw Hat Crew. Expect a battle from start to finish.
