Oak Ridge USAF DEP

Oak Ridge USAF DEP cell phone The United States Air Force DEP (Delayed Entry Program) is a program for new recruits who have decided to join the Air Force as an enlisted member.

While being in the DEP recruits will get their first taste of Air Force policies, procedures and customs. This is a great way to foster teamwork and provide for a smoother transition into basic training and the Air Force way of life.

I love when these reminder pictures come up. I am proud to have met, and worked with, so many great people.

Hello, I want to check in and see how everyone is doing. It has been some time since I retired (Feb. 2016). I am still in Oak Ridge. I work at Amazon now as a Recruiter. Around town, I have seen a couple of your parents now and then. I see Brandon Finney's Mom almost every month. Please let me know how you are doing and what you are up to. I miss my Air Force days and truly hope you all are doing well.

Hello. I hope everyone is doing well. I have seen that some folks are still serving active duty, while others have moved on to other great things. It has been 4.5 years since I retired and I truly miss the camaraderie in the Air Force. My daughter is now almost 20 years old (crazy, I know) and getting married to her high school sweetheart, who is in Air Force Technical school now. Her fiancé received his soft orders yesterday (HILL AFB, UT).

I am wondering what advice you would give for these two young folks. I have tons of experience, but who listens to their parents!?!?

If you have advice, please feel free to share. If you have been to, or are still at, Hill AFB...I would love to speak with you.

Also, please let me know what you are doing now and where you are, whether you are in out out. I am working at a company called GEM Technologies as a Senior Technical Recruiter. We work a lot with the DOE, Y-12, etc. Some folks may know this already (ahem, Courtney).

Also, if any of you would like to reach me directly, for any reason, my personal cell is 865-310-4822.

Respectfully,
Jeremy Israel

Hello. I wanted to check in and see where everyone is stationed now. Please feel free to include a picture and info about your career so far. If you have transitioned out, or plan to soon, please feel free to write about that as well. I hope the best for each and every one of you and pray for you and your families. To this day, the most impactful time of my life has been the 2 years spent as an enlisted recruiter.
