Bobby Holcombe
Bobby Holcombe’s running career began in 1997 working under the guidance of Dave Nelson, Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier, Knoxville Track Club member and coach. Holcombe trained under the guidance of Coach Watts until 2006. During his competitive years under Coach Watts, Holcombe’s running statistics are as follows: 4:00 min.-1,500 meters, 8:31 min.-3,000 meters, 1
4:53 min.-5k, 25:13 min. -8k, 31:11 min.-10k, 1:09-Half Marathon, and a 2:37-Marathon. During this time frame Holcombe raced in over 200 road, track and cross country races. Holcombe won 75 of the 200 races in which he raced. He has competed in several USATF/RRCA championships cross country and road races. Holcombe has also finished within the top 125 runners at the Boston Marathon. In 2002 Holcombe began coaching area athletes from middle school through master adults. Holcombe has taken on all levels of runners from Couch to 5k participants to elite athletes. To date Holcombe has successfully coached over 500 athletes. Statistics and Experience:

Running & Triathlon Coach:
Joshua Mower
Josh comes to KE with prior coaching experience from Collegiate stints at Brevard College (NC) and Valley City State University (ND) and private personal training environments. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and also is USA Track & Field Level 1 and USA Triathlon Level 1 coach certified. Behind the scenes he also holds a NASM certified Personal Training certification and multiple key specialties which gives him extra knowledge on the physiology of endurance sports, the way the body works as well as injury prevention/ correction techniques. Josh coaches both runners and triathletes and helps with some of the background work with KE like timing events and managing social media sites. When asked about his coaching philosophy, Josh views each individual uniquely and tries to tailor an athlete's training to his/her needs and goals. "I find it rewarding, not just reaching an end result. I like seeing athletes of all ages and levels compete for their individual goals and gain confidence in their training." Josh was a standout athlete at Brevard College where he ran Cross Country, Indoor & Outdoor Track all 4 years and still owns school records from the NCAA Division-2 era for 5000m (15:30), 3000m (9:06), 3K Steeple Chase (9:31), 10000m (32:28) & Mile (4:30). As a triathlete Josh competes in Sprint and Olympic Races and is usually top 10 out of the water, in the top 15% on the bike and normally the top ranked runner at every race. The 70.3 will be the next distance he intends to tackle as well as attending future USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships in the summer. Statistics and Experience:
