Last Practice Before the Grand

Tonight marks the final Smokey Mountain Trap practice before our team heads to the AIM Grand in Sparta, Illinois—the most anticipated trapshooting competition of the year.

Watching these athletes grow throughout the season has been incredible. From building confidence and sharpening their skills to supporting one another every step of the way, each shooter has put in the time, effort, and dedication to earn this opportunity.

No matter what happens in Sparta, we’re already proud of every one of these kids. They’ve represented our team with hard work, sportsmanship, and determination, and we can’t wait to see them compete on one of the biggest stages in youth trapshooting.

Safe travels, shoot with confidence, trust your training, and most importantly—enjoy every moment.

🏆 TENNESSEE STATE SHOOT 2026 RECAP 🏆

Some of our Smokey Mountain Trap Team athletes stayed in Nashville for the entire Tennessee State Shoot, competing through countless rounds against some of the best shooters from Tennessee and across the country.

Long days, early mornings, intense competition, and a whole lot of dedication went into every target broken. Their commitment to improving their skills and representing our team at a high level continues to pay off.

We’re proud to say they brought home some impressive hardware and accomplishments from one of the toughest competitions of the year! 🎯

Success doesn’t happen overnight—it comes from hard work, determination, practice, and perseverance. These athletes have put in the time, and it showed on the scoreboard.

Our Smokey Mountain Trap Team Junior Squad left it all on the line this weekend and brought home the Runner-Up title at the Tennessee AIM State Shoot! 🎯

Through hard work, determination, and countless hours of practice, these athletes represented our team with pride and showed what it means to compete at a high level.

🏆 Tennessee AIM State Shoot Sub-Junior Champions! 🏆

Our Smokey Mountain Trap Team Sub-Juniors put together an incredible performance, hitting 947 of 1000 targets and bringing home the Sub-Junior State Championship!

Not only did they achieve this amazing team accomplishment, but several shooters also reached personal goals, earned milestones, and delivered some of their best performances of the season.
