Ty Masterpool coming back from injury and setting Red Bud on fire 🔥 ☝🏼 in honor of his late brother Jesse.

After getting cleared to ride after a broken leg, He did a 30 minute moto on a figure 8! 🤯That’s dedication and a will to succeed like no other✊🏻

This pass by Ryan Villopoto has stood out in my mind for years. You can practice the right technique over and over again, but there is no technique for riding outside of your comfort zone, or riding the edge. It is different for every rider. You can only hope your foundation you have built will sustain, and give you the strength and reaction to control it. Ryan Villopoto was the master of riding in this zone, and it came from his drive and motivation to win. JS7 was pulling away in the heat race and Villopoto's DRIVE helped him make this pass and 4 back to back SX Championships.

Great progress with Kyle Smith today! Usually you don't see results instantly, but Kyle opened up his entry speed, and rode a gear taller everywhere! 4 seconds per lap is huge!

When the last Moto is over use that time to walk the track and examine different lines. You will be surprised on what you didn't see or missed while you were in the heat of a battle. This is very important for parents as well to see first hand where the improvement needs to be instead of just saying "go faster here". This is the difference between amateur and professional races. Become a student of the sport and do your homework and it will take you far. - JS198

Best memory from Mini O's! Or maybe lack of memory... because in practice I knocked myself out while stepping down from the Elevator jump. I didn't have much track time, and decided I wanted to "try" and ride the 2nd motos and see how I felt. NEVER give up and your hard work will be rewarded.

Confidence and commitment. If whoops are slowing you down, carry the front end up and keep the momentum going!

Next time your local track is hard pack and slick, view it as a great training day. Truly great riders can corner in all conditions using proper technique and throttle control! Amazing display by the rookie Romain Febvre.
