First tournament with our fall boys, and we’re starting the season with some new hardware! 💍⚾️

The Knoxville Misfits went 2-0 today at the Tri-Star Tournament in Eagleton and brought home the CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS!

These boys came ready to play, and we’re proud to see them out there representing the businesses that continue to support our team. A huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors for standing behind these boys and helping make days like today possible. We’re proud to wear your names!

⚾️ DAY ONE AT THE RIPKEN EXPERIENCE — IN THE BOOKS! ⚾️

Day one definitely tested our Knoxville Misfits — mentally, physically, and maybe even a little spiritually. 😂

We took a tough loss in Game 1, but if there’s one thing about a bunch of Misfits, it’s that they don’t stay down for long. 💪

These boys regrouped, shook it off, came back ready to battle, and got the WIN in Game 2! 🔥⚾️

Baseball has a funny way of humbling you one minute and reminding you exactly what you’re capable of the next. Today wasn’t perfect, but it showed us something better — GRIT. They kept fighting, kept believing in each other, and finished the day stronger than they started.

Day 1: 1–1.
A few lessons learned. A little dirt collected. Probably a few parents who need blood pressure medicine. 😂 And a whole lot more baseball still to play!

Tomorrow we wake up, reset, and do what Misfits do best…

From the last seed to Tournament Champions!

The Knoxville Misfits came to Athens today ready to compete, finishing 2-1-1 and battling their way from the bottom of the bracket all the way to the championship. Every game took grit, determination, and the refusal to quit.

But as proud as we are of the championship, what makes this team truly special isn’t the trophy—it’s the brotherhood. The best moments happened in the dugout when they thought no one was listening. Encouraging each other, picking each other up after mistakes, celebrating every success, and reminding one another to keep fighting. That’s what being a Misfit is all about.

Championships are earned on the field, but character is built when no one is watching. These boys showed both today, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Way to represent, Misfits! Athens won’t forget this run.
