As we step into a new chapter and look ahead to new opportunities in premier competitive soccer, we want to give a huge and heartfelt shoutout to Dave Kaufman, founder of Medford United Futbol Club! When our Cobras team and coaches needed a place to compete, Dave took a chance on us. He believed in this team, stood by us, and gave us an opportunity through MUFC that changed everything. Because of that support, our girls were able to grow, compete, and prove that they absolutely belong on this stage.
Since Fall 2025 the Cobras have been on an incredible journey, competing in tournaments across three states, participating in a total of 8 tournaments, over 30 official games by the end of July 2026. Every trip, every match, and every challenge pushed this team to rise to the challenge and grow stronger together.
What makes this team even more special—aside from our incredibly committed coaches—is the heart of these girls. Our U15 squad is made up of 1 sixth grader, 4 seventh graders, 8 eighth graders, and 4 ninth graders. This past year didn’t just build a stronger team—it built a stronger Cobras family, and a community of support that means so much to all of us.
So thank you, Dave. Thank you, MUFC, for believing in us, standing by us, supporting our team, and mentoring our coaches. Your support opened doors, created unforgettable memories, and helped shape this team into what it is today. We are beyond grateful—and we will always carry that with us.
