stomer’s service and services, he created a new way to help customers with new technology not available to any other repair shop in the State of Florida. The value was an innovation to his first repair shop, other repair shops wanted to copy Tires Plus technology but the experience that Mr. Covarrubia had from many years working for Ford Motor Company was to no avail to the small and medium size repair shops in the area. With the support and the sponsorship from Motorcraft (Ford Motor Company division), he was able to produce an exceptional service and warranty to all his customers at a great price. The repair shop that Mr. Covarrubia purchased back in the mid 1990’s was barely selling $ 500.00 per week, just about 8 weeks later the shop was full of customers with revenues of over $ 5000.00 per day. Covarubia’s vision with America’s Golf Show is exactly the same, he has seen what’s needed in order to have the only TV show dedicated to College Golf, he knows what to do in order to bring this show to the air and make it that all viewers wanted to watch, knowing what other TV show has done to make the show interested to some viewers he went to Disney Hollywood Studios and present his ideas and concept of the show, Disney decided to work with him. The concept is just simple, if you can have millions of people watching someone’s cooking show in TV 24/7 we can make a GOLF TV show better than watching someone cooking,
Disney agreed and realized that this is a great idea and Disney become part of it and took the challenged to work with America’s Golf Show and to create and exceptional TV show that no one else have ever done, a show that many people will enjoy and many people will look to continue to watch week after week. America’s Golf Show was formed in 2009 with the mission of increasing visibility of college golf around the United States. The show will spotlight the best collegiate players, including each week’s top performer, most improved game, notable shots and holes-in-one, and the latest equipment. Player and celebrity interviews, both on-site and remote, allow personalities to shine through and provide insight into game strategy as well as intriguing background stories. The vision for this project began in 2007, and many hours were spent on identifying the right partner to create a television show dedicated solely to college golf across the United States. In the end, Disney became our studio of choice due to, among other factors, their ability to instill magic in every production they touch. We are very excited to have such a venerable partner on our side.
