Unfortunately the Fireflies did not bring back no hardware but they did bring back pins. 🤣 But overall they played hard in the sun on top of it being humid and muggy which I’m sure threw them off their game and absolutely they played hard and put in the effort each game. The most important thing of the trip was the experience they had going to a WCWS game and playing in places some of them may not get to experience very often. As parents I know we are all proud of the girls and the continuous dedication they pour into this game. To the coaches thank you for your time, every minute, every hour, every drill, every batting, every catch, every yell, every correction, every challenge, every practice to prepare them for tournaments and experiences like this. Thank you for all you do and will continue to do for every firefly on the team. In conclusion thank you parents for your on going dedication to support your daughter because we all know it can be challenging at times from taking them to practices, to being there every game, and as well as financially. So, let’s give the girls a round of applause and to the parents let’s pat ourselves on the back.
