📢Calling All Lead-Liners!! Bring the kids out to ride! 🐴✨

From our 6 & Under Lead-Liners taking their very first arena steps, to our 8U Walk/Trotters stepping out on their own, to the older youth & adult speed and roping events, we’re all about building confidence, having fun, and supporting the next generation of riders in a safe, encouraging environment for women and men alike!

Here’s what parents need to know for our Youth Divisions:

👧 6 & Under Lead-Line: ***Series Hi-Point PRIZES 1st-3rd***

- Barrels and Poles will be a modified shorter pattern.
- Ground dummy-Up & Back carry/place loop around ground dummy
- Leader must be leading on foot.

👦 8 & Under Walk/Trot only: ***Series Hi-Point PRIZES 1st-3rd***

-Barrels and Poles will be a modified shorter pattern.
-Ground dummy-3 loops on steer head, points based on catch.
-Walk/trot pattern only. NO loping pattern allowed.

Contestants may enter speed events (Barrels & Poles) without needing to enter roping events!

Load up the kiddos, bring the grandparents, and come make some great memories with us!

🏆 Series Hi-Point Buckles & Prizes up for grabs for ALL Divisions!
(One horse/rider combo. Must compete in 2 of 4 rodeos to qualify)

📢 NBRA Colorado-Front Range District Update: Major Improvements to our Classification System! 🤠

As your District Director, I am incredibly excited to share some fantastic news coming down from the National Breakaway Roping Association. The NBRA has officially rolled out an overhaul to our numbering classification system, and it is a massive win for our contestants!

The biggest and best change? They have completely eliminated lifetime and annual earnings thresholds.

In the past, classification systems based on LTE requirements would group complete novices with other beginners who were actually making some headway, and that may have left quite a few feeling discouraged from joining. The NBRA recognized that this wasn't fair to developing ropers. From here on out, your number won't be dictated by a dollar sign.

Instead, the NBRA has made the steps much easier to define and understand. The new focus is strictly on true skill level, fundamental mechanics, and your actual ex*****on in the arena. This keeps the playing field incredibly fair, transparent, and aligned with your true ability.

Whether you are a true beginner building confidence or a seasoned amateur ready to step up, this improved system guarantees you have a division where you can compete on a level playing field.

We are proud to see the association continually adapting to grow the sport of breakaway roping and support its competitors. Get those entries ready—the Colorado-Front Range district is shaping up to be an incredible season! 🐎🔥
