Well just bought the most expensive spark plug I’ve ever bought. $43 for this thing… on top of that getting ahold of one was near impossible.

The yz isn’t wanting to start. Hoping it’s just the spark plug. It’s only got 30 hours so I don’t need bigger issues already😭

The story of Barber Racing,

September 3, 2023 was the first race I did. We had a lil camper and pulled the machines on a trailer. I raced a clapped out yfz450r. Had no idea how intense this sport was or what it required. All I knew was I wanted to do it after watching a race in April of 2023.
Jason Sterling warned us saying this sport is addictive and more expensive than drugs. I laughed at that thinking it was a funny joke. Little did I know he was more than correct.
Since April 2023 I have not missed a single race. I’ve attended every weekend MXC Racing and AXC Racing has had. I’ve always planned to stay on 4 wheels since I grew up riding fourwheelers. Tyler McCoy begged me to get a pit bike and I told him over and over that I will never ride on 2 wheels. A few months after that bold statement I bought a crappy Chinese pitbike for $400 and rode it into the ground having the time of my life.
A year later I went and bought a brand new 2025 crf125 and absolutely loved every second of racing it.
Half way through the 2025 season I ended up with a 400ex and raced that bad boy into the ground.
Skip forward to November of 2025 I went and watched Spencer, Mason, John, Jaden, and Jeremy( Kym Ryals) race the 24 hour gut buster in Texas. 3 days later I went and bought a 2026 yz250fx because I decided racing dirtbikes looked really cool. 2 months after that I went and bought a brand new toy hauler. Then a month after that I ended up with a 22 trx90.
So went from a clapped out yfz450r with a lil camper that we crammed people into to having our own toy hauler, having 2 dirtbikes (even though I said I’d never race on 2 wheels) and a pit quad. Went from racing once a weekend to 3 times a weekend…
I can say with confidence that I am far more skilled on a quad than a dirtbike, but I love the amount of competition on the bikes and I love that I’m going from the very bottom and slowly making my way up.
Every race I get faster and hit the ground harder, but I absolutely love it. I love the racing, I love the atmosphere, I love the people, I love it all. Britney Barber wasn’t into it at first but she’s gotten real deep into it even though it financially drains us😂

Today I hit 200 followers on this page. That’s not a lot to most people but it is to me. Yes at least 2/3 of the people following are people that I know but there’s still several people I don’t know and I appreciate each and every person who’s clicked follow. Whether a random post came across your feed or a funny video of me smacking the ground you guys took the time to push that follow button and it’s greatly appreciated. I love sharing my racing info. 99% of the time I’m talking about racing no matter who it’s with or where I’m at. I’ve definitely found where I belong in this world and I’m all in. Also if you read this entire post you’re insane because it’s a lot of rambling😂

Here’s to many many many more years of racing🍻. Hopefully I can be like some of these old guys that absolutely tear the track up in 30 years when I become an old guy (after a weekend of racing 3 races I feel like one)

What an eventful race weekend! Ended up racing 4 different races. Pit quad, short course, pit bike, MC main.
Starting out Saturday Tyler McCoy and I were the only pit quads out there. We just kinda messed around until Tyler started yanking kids out of the mud. Took first
Then I decided to race the short course. There were 8 in my class and 13 overall. Didn’t figure I’d do to good against bigger quads but I guess there’s some advantages to the 90. Ended up getting 2nd in my class and 2nd overall. Had an absolute blast racing it especially in the mud!
Sunday started out with the pitbikes. Had 7 of us race. Ended up cruising in first, picking kids up and at one point goin backwards on the track (very carefully) to flag down the medical for a kid down. Ended up snagging first place
During the main had 14 in my class. Accidentally started my bike before the flag so I killed it and took of late. Passed a few in our class in the first few woods sections. Then Jaden Moore and I had a sick battle for at least half a lap. At one point I went down and here came Jaden almost in my lap. We both died laughing and got back up and got after it. Shortly after I went down and he got around me after I showed my bad to the bone hot line. 2nd lap I found some barb wire lost a lot of time. Last lap tried flying. Ran my fastest lap and ended up in 8th. Not a bad weekend comin off my injury!

Shoutout to the ones who make it possible!
