This week’s Player Highlight is focused on Tate Shortridge.

Tate plays catcher and CF showing his unbelievable flexibility for two tough positions. He’s a great extra base hitter leading the team in both doubles and triples on the year! While he gets called Tater or Tater Tot often, I like to call him another food in Smashburger the way he smashes the ball. What he does on the field is impressive, but even more impressive is the great teammate and friend he is to all of the other players.

Our boys had an awesome day in pool play and will be the #1 seed in the gold bracket tomorrow. The job is not finished though and we have to keep the momentum going for the USSSA Tennessee State Championship Tournament. Run, don’t walk to see the boys play!

This week’s Player Highlight is focused on Maxx Tremaine.

Maxx plays catcher for the most part but can jump into other positions when needed. He’s had some awesome plays at home stealing some runs from the other teams. He’s been injured for our last two tournaments and we missed having him out there with us. We are excited to have him back behind the plate here in June.

This week’s Player Highlight is focused on Tucker Morgan.

Tucker plays multiple positions including 1B, P, and CF. He tracks the ball at every position and makes unbelievable catches everywhere on the field! He’s extremely coachable and a joy to have on the team. You should see his skills on the flag football field too!

This week’s Player Highlight is focused on Bo Shipley.

Bo plays multiple positions including 3B, LF, RF and 1B. He’s a true utility player that can jump in wherever is needed. He currently leads the teams in home runs on the year too. He’s generally a quiet kid but we love to get him loud and laughing out there. We love having Bo on our team.
