We’re so excited to welcome Rustic Refresh - Mobile Dirty Soda Bar to our 5th Annual Cecil New Memorial Softball Tournament! 🥤✨

Rustic Refresh is a sister-owned small business bringing fun, handcrafted dirty sodas to our community—full of flavor and anything but ordinary.

These girls hold a special place in our hearts. Their dad was one of Cecil’s very dear friends, and their family has meant so much to ours over the years. It makes it even more meaningful to have them be part of this event. 🤍

We’re SO excited to announce that we’re gearing up for the 5th Annual Cecil New Memorial Softball Tournament happening on October 10th! 🥎

As we begin planning for this year’s event, we are currently looking for local business sponsors who would like to be a part of something meaningful in our community.

Because of your support last year, we were able to:
• Donate 100 youth jerseys to our local recreation commission
• Award two $750 scholarships to Kingman High School students

This year, sponsorships will look a little different with the addition of tiered options:

Tier 1 – $50
• Business advertisement on our social media page

Tier 2 – $100
• Social media advertising
• Your business name on our annual tournament t-shirts

Tier 3 – $200
• Social media advertising
• Name on tournament t-shirts
• A banner featuring your business displayed at our events throughout the year

We are incredibly honored to announce the 2026 Cecil New Memorial Scholarship recipients 🤍

In our very first year, we received 14 applications — which is truly amazing and more than we could have hoped for. Each applicant brought something special, and choosing our recipients was no easy task!

Congratulations to our recipients, Braylon Price & Peyton Boos! We are so proud of you both and cannot wait to see all that your future holds.

To all who applied, thank you for sharing your stories, your goals, and your hearts with us. This is just the beginning ✨

We did a special photoshoot with (almost) all of Cecil’s grandkids in the jerseys donated to the Kingman Recreation Commission in his name.

Seeing his legacy stand together and represent him in those jerseys was incredibly meaningful. In their smiles, their strength, and their time on that court, you can see the impact he made — a legacy rooted deeply in family, community, and giving back.

His influence never ended, it lives on through them. 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, played, and supported our 2026 basketball tournament! We’re so grateful for the teams, families, and fans who made it such a fun event.

A big congratulations to Kye Gerdes’ team on winning the championship! 🏆

Shoutout to Mr. Van Wyhe and USD 331 Kingman Middle-High School for allowing us to use the gym to host another great event!

All proceeds go directly back to our youth and community ❤️

Today we celebrate Cecil New on his birthday 🤍

While we wish more than anything that we could celebrate with him here, we choose instead to honor the life he lived and the legacy he continues to leave behind. Cecil had a heart for people, a love for the game, and a way of showing up for others that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Today, we remember his smile, his passion, and the many lives he touched. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and honor Cecil through this scholarship program. His story is still being written through each act of kindness and opportunity given in his name.

Happy Birthday, Cecil. You are deeply missed and forever remembered 💙
