👨🎓👩🎓KHS SENIORS + SENIOR PARENTS — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU!
We’re getting an early start on sharing the 2026–2027 All Sports Booster Scholarship requirements, and while the qualifications are similar to years past, we’ve structured things a little differently this year.
This year, scholarship consideration is tiered based on the student’s involvement within the booster. Our goal is still to award a scholarship to every student who applies and meets the minimum Tier 1 requirements, with the opportunity for increased award consideration for students who go above and beyond.
One important change: There is NO parent volunteer requirement this year. We’re putting that responsibility on the students applying for the scholarship. Seniors will need to complete one Booster volunteer shift to meet the minimum requirements and two total shifts to qualify for Tier 2 consideration.
The SignUpGenius for volunteer shifts is OPEN! Seniors can sign up now, get those shifts knocked out early, and have one less thing to worry about later in the year. More shifts will be added as winter and spring sports schedules are finalized.
Parents — there is one way you can help! If your student wants to qualify for consideration for the maximum scholarship amount of $500, a current parent/guardian Booster membership is required by November 1. Membership can be obtained through the annual membership drive that is open now. If you purchased an Honor Ad in this year’s media guide, your membership is already covered! Current members for the 2026-2027 school year are listed in the graphic below. If you don’t see your name, and want to help your senior qualify for the maximum scholarship amount, get signed up today!
Take a look through the graphic for all of the requirements, deadlines and QR codes to sign up. We’re sharing this now so seniors have plenty of time to complete everything — no scrambling in the spring!
Seniors: sign up early, get your volunteer shifts done, and check that box! ✅
