⚽🏆 COMING SOON TO KING GEORGE… KGSA ADULT 35+ 7v7 SOCCER LEAGUE! 🏆⚽

KGSA is excited to begin planning our VERY FIRST co-ed Adult 35+ Soccer League for Summer 2026! This league is being designed to bring together former players, parents, soccer lovers, and community members for a fun, competitive, and community-focused experience right here in King George.

🔥 Tentative Season Dates:
June 15, 2026 – August 3, 2026

⚽ League Format:
• Adult 7v7 Soccer League
• Recreational/competitive mix
• Self-officiated games (NO referees)
• Focus on sportsmanship, community, and fun
• KGSA will track standings, schedules, wins/losses, and playoffs

⚽ League Structure:
• 4–8 teams depending on registration numbers
• Recommended roster size: 9 players
• Team rosters may carry 7–12 players
• Approximately 6 regular season games
• 1 playoff/championship week
• Games primarily on weekends
• Possible weekday evening games if needed

⚽ Gameplay:
Games will follow a format similar to the KG Parks & Recreation U10 soccer rules to keep play simple, organized, and community friendly.

⚽ Practices:
No team practices required for the adult league.

⚽ Registration:
Sign-ups will be available through the KGSA website in the near future. Team captains will register for their team. We'll also have Individual registration and will be added to a team if needed.

As this will be our FIRST season, registration may be capped to ensure we can properly manage the league and create the best possible experience for everyone involved. If interest is strong, we hope to continue expanding future seasons!

February 16th is a significant holiday as it's Presidents' Day (officially Washington's Birthday)

🏀 KG Sports Academy Competitive Basketball Clinic 🏀
KG Sports Academy (KGSA) is excited to host a high-energy Competitive Basketball Clinic designed to build skills, confidence, and a love for the game—all while having fun!
This clinic will focus on fundamental basketball skills combined with friendly competition to keep players engaged and motivated. Athletes will be placed into age-appropriate groups to ensure proper instruction and fair play.
👥 Age Groups:
Group 1: 1st & 2nd Grade
Group 2: 3rd & 4th Grade
🔥 Clinic Highlights:
Skill development (dribbling, shooting, passing, footwork)
Competitive drills and mini-challenges
Fun basketball games including:
Knock Out
Around the World
Additional skill-based competitions
Controlled scrimmage play (age-appropriate)
🏆 Prizes:
Winners of competitive games will receive prizes valued between $10–$20, adding excitement and motivation while reinforcing sportsmanship and effort.

As we wrap up our first year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire King George community for your trust, encouragement, and support. Since KG Sports Academy was established, we’ve had the privilege of helping 75 local children grow in their skills, confidence, and love for the game across our basketball, soccer, and softball camps. None of this would be possible without you.

We are especially grateful for the student athletes and community members who stepped up to help lead, mentor, and inspire our young players. We are always looking for high school athletes who want to gain leadership experience, give back, and make a difference. KGSA proudly provides letters of recommendation for all volunteer hours served—your impact matters, and we love helping highlight that.

Looking ahead, our vision is big and bold. In 2026, we aim to double the number of youth we serve and expand into new age groups and additional sports opportunities. But we can’t do it alone. To reach more families and create even more high-quality programs, we will need the continued support of volunteer coaches, parents, and student athletes. Your involvement is what makes KGSA strong.

🏀 Welcome to Our Basketball Camp! 🏀
We’re excited to welcome your athlete to an amazing week of basketball fun at King George Elementary!

Throughout camp, players will be learning and developing key basketball skills including:
✅ Dribbling & ball control
✅ Passing & teamwork
✅ Shooting fundamentals
✅ Defense & footwork
✅ Game rules & court awareness

Each day will also include organized games and exciting scrimmages so players can put their skills into action in a fun, encouraging environment! Best of all, we’ll be focusing on confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and having a BLAST on and off the court!
