Good Monday evening everyone. Wanted to give everybody a little recap of Saturday night. The day started out rough. Battling a nasty head and chest cold. I'm not one to take any type of medication even when I don't have to get into a race car so to struggled with it and it seemed to get worse by the time we were unloaded in the pits. There was a very experienced, great driver in the pits that I considered putting in the car because of how horrible I felt but he did not have his Gear with him and I'm not sure I could have really done it anyway but that's how sick I was. Slammed a couple Mountain Dews and felt a little better. I think we qualified fifth overall and third in our group. Eight cars on the track at one time for qualifying is too many in my opinion. Never got to use Full Throttle for a lap. Heat race we started third and finished third. Feature started 10th slid back a few spots but the car started feeling better every lap and we were able to drive it back up to an eighth place finish and put it in the Box in one piece. So all in all a good night. Totally new car, different motor so a little bit of learning and feeling it out came along with it but it feels like it's going to be a beast! Looking forward to this coming Saturday! Hopefully my cold will be all gone but doesn't look like Mother Nature's will be! If the wind forecast is correct it's not going to be as windy and it'll be at your backs, not blowing into the grandstands. We're all hoping that you're willing to bundle up and come out and support this great thing we call local dirt track racing! As we are getting closer to the deadline for Wisconsin’s Governor Evers to sign Assembly Bill 880, the Right to Race Legislation that protects motorsports facilities from nuisance actions, we are asking for your direct involvement. Please note that we are stronger together, and in no way are we trying to be rude or brash. We simply ask you to show your support by leaving a positive and supportive message. There is no room here for anger, attacks, or unpleasantness in these messages.
If you support this legislation to protect our facilities in the great state of Wisconsin, please follow the below steps:
