Parents of 4th-6th graders your kiddos may have been coming home on Wednesdays and telling you about PE and the inclusion fun we’ve been having or maybe they haven’t and now you know 🙂 Mrs.Rowe and our class have been working on the Special Olympics Oklahoma Unified Champion School and in doing so there are lessons to do with learning and including everyone! So far we have done Stories that Unite us (this is like step forward if and see how everyone at some point has had struggles in life), The Connection Challenge ( Human knot with hands and teamwork to undo them) , line up and link up (this was teamwork as well without talking and learning to communicate) , Fit in a flash( fun exercise and learning about food) and today was Teamwork Makes the Dreameork ( they had 10 papers of copy paper work together to make a tower)….. all lessons are basically working together teamwork and being a leader and learning to work with everyone and include everyone 🙂 if you and your kiddos have talked about it or now you have had chats about it drop comments we’d love to hear feedback!!!!

The kids did so good yesterday at the Catoosa Fine Arts Competition!!!! Also 2 blue ribbons were brought back from 1 dance and 1 song of Let It Go!!!

Kiefer Spirit Store made grab bags again!!! For Friday night student section theme of NEON!!! The bags have pink Pom , neon wrist band , silicone bracelet, 2 neon necklaces and more! Will be sold to high school / middle school until Friday when spirit store opens.. any left will be sold in store.
