Had a great weekend racing with WMRRA (last round of the season for me 😢) on the 600 and Abraham's cbr 1000. I was able to make a few big setup changes with the cbr 1000. On Saturday, I was able to get two 1st place finishes on the 600 and two 3rd place finishes on the cbr 1000. On Sunday I was able to get two 1st place finishes on the 600 starting from the back of the grid. I managed to get one 2nd place finish (and won some $$) and one 4th place finish on the cbr 1000. Thank again to Abraham Balderas for letting me ride the 1000!
Couple weeks until I'm back at COTA for Talent Cup and then New Jersey!

To be honest, not the greatest weekend at VIRginia International Raceway. I learned a lot, though, about not overpushing on the start. On Friday I did pretty good and was p8 in fp1 which I was pretty happy about because I have never been there.
In qualifying 1, I ended up in p7 and had a good pace and was able to drop 2 seconds. In qualifying 2, I ended up in p10, which I was not really happy about. Made a few changes before q2, and they ended up not helping. Made some suspension changes before race 1 and were able to get p8. I was not super pleased with it, but, I was able to drop my time.
In warm-up, I was able to drop my time by over a second and felt super good and felt like I was meshing with the track. In race 2, I was starting in p10 on the grid and was able to get to p7 by the first corner. I ended up making a mistake trying to pass someone and went wide, losing 3 positions. I managed to get back 2 positions from my mistake in turn one and got p9. Overall, I wasn't happy with how the weekend went, but I'm glad to put it behind and looking forward to race at COTA next in September!

Another great weekend racing with OMRRA. Friday was good, was able to ride the CBR 1000 again (thanks Abraham!) and the Kawasaki 636. On Saturday, I was able to qualify 2nd on the 600 and 3rd on the 1000. Saturday results: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Sunday, Brian Burchill let me ride his racing Ninja 250 in the le mans start race, which was really fun and I won with a pretty good gap! On Sunday, I earned two 1st places, a 2nd and a 3rd. Thank you, Abraham Balderas, for letting me ride your cbr 1000 again! And thank you, Brian Burchill Brian Burchill, for letting me ride your Ninja 250! Also thanks to grandma for being there and cheering me on. Had a really good time.

I'm very sorry about the late post! I had a fun weekend with WMRRA a couple weeks ago. Abraham let me race his CBR 1000 (first time racing a 1000!) after my clutch was having issues on the 600. Was able to ride 2 and a half sessions on the 1000 on Friday to learn the bike, but we had to change the springs, and we did not have time so we changed them Friday night. On Saturday, I was able to ride two ten minute sessions in the morning. This was the first time I had on the softer springs and we had to make some changes.
I got two 4th places on Saturday and 4th and 3rd on Sunday. I had so much fun this weekend and thank you again Abraham Balderas for letting me ride your bike.

Had a very solid race day today WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. I started 6th on the grid and got a good launch. Went into turn one in 5th. On lap 1, I was hanging with the lead pack but caught a false neutral. I had some tire issues, and they were sliding under me a lot.
A red flag was thrown out on the last lap and I finished the race in 4th, which I'm very happy with.

Moto America at my home track was a fun experience, was hoping for better results but ended decently for Sunday.

Q1 on the Friday, I had a spill in the rain in turn 14 after losing the front. I was okay and was able to go back out and finish the session. In Q2 on Saturday, I felt good, it was the first relatively dry session of the weekend, and ended up qualifying 5th on the second row.

Race 1 was going good, got a good start and was in a 6-way battle for the lead. But in the rainy conditions, I ended up losing the rear in turn 15. Was able to pick up the bike and get the top 10 with a bent clip-on.

Sunday ended up being a better day. Race 2, I came out of the chicane in 4th and hung with 3rd for 3 or 4 laps, I then started to fade but was still in the fight. I ended up finishing in 4th, which was my best finish of the MA Season so far.

Special thanks to Ivan TeamBOC and Joe Pittman for being a great team and working so hard for me.

As always, thank you to all of my sponsors
