Guess who’s back… 👀🏁

It may have just been a test session, but Bob Tasca climbed back behind the wheel for the first time this season. After spending the year watching from the starting line, he strapped into the “Prock Rocket” for a few test hits and reminded everyone he can still drive a Funny Car. 🚀

Can you win a drag race even if the other car is faster?
Absolutely.
In this video of Nitro Funny Car Drag Racing 101 with BT3, Bob Tasca III explains what a “holeshot” is and how reaction time can win races in NHRA Funny Car competition.
At over 330 mph, races can be decided by just a few thousandths of a second. Sometimes the driver who leaves first gets to the finish line first - even against a quicker car.
