The Adventure Center is proud to offer hands-on programs designed to prepare individuals and groups for the outdoors and beyond. Through our Scout Merit Badge Programs, Trip Preparation courses, and WRFA (Wilderness Remote First Aid) training, participants gain practical outdoor skills, leadership experience, and the confidence to explore safely and responsibly.

Whether you’re learning new techniques, planning your next adventure, or building emergency response knowledge, we’re here to support safer, smarter, and more successful experiences for our community.

Ready to make your climb count? Our Charity Climb-a-Thon is back!

Join the Adventure Center crew on Saturday, Oct. 25, as we climb to raise money for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Paradox Sports, and the Ohio Climbers Coalition.

All it takes is $20 in donations to participate in this awesome event. Swing by the SRWC Climbing Wall any time during our normal hours to grab your pledge packet and start fundraising.

Ever wanted to try disc golf (think frisbee golf!)? Now’s your chance to play and make our course better! We’re hosting the Golden Flash Pad Dash this Saturday to raise money for brand new short tee pads.

These new pads will create a better, safer, and more enjoyable experience for everyone, from first-timers to seasoned pros. Come join our fun, casual tournament (perfect for learning!), win prizes, and help us give the KSU Disc Golf Course the upgrade it deserves!
