This past Saturday a number of our freshman tracksters competed in one more meet. The freshman state meet is an exciting event for the freshman to get another opportunity to compete and show off their hard work. Allie S and Micah V competed in Pole vault, Michael T in the 100m, Colby Rockwell in the 400m finished with a PR, Jackson Lechner competed in shot and disc, tossing a PR in disc. The 2 guys pictured left with some hardware placing 8th in their events. Aaron Lucci in the 1600m(5:07.65) and Miles Hackney had a PR in the 500(55.67) as well as a PR in the 200m. Great job to all competitors! We love to see that you enjoyed your first season as a Pacers trackster and wanted one more meet!

The 2026 State trip was an eventful one. We stayed in Amish country, a bit outside of LaCrosse, but it was beautiful. We saw lots of horse and buggies and we even had some excitement with a tornado warning nearby. It all culminated today in a hot, sunny day and a great 800m run by Johnny Roehl! He just missed the podium, finishing in 7th place at the meet. He also set a new PR and School Record time of 1:56.85 running what his coach, Mrs. Skorenkyi, said was a perfect race! What a heck of a way to end his junior season!

Best wishes to Coach Skorenkyi also, as she and her husband venture to Virgina for his vicar year this coming year. We've loved having you in staff and we'll miss all the laughs!

Now that the 2026 season has ended, we'll see you again in about 278 days for the 2027 season!
