Some teams announce a roster.
We simply keep writing the next chapter.
This is our 2026-27 Louisiana Catahoulas 11U team.
No tryouts. No grand reveal. No production.
Just a group of boys who earned the right to keep wearing the jersey.
Over the last year, these players have been tested. They’ve competed against some of the best teams Louisiana and Texas have to offer. They’ve won games. They’ve lost games. They’ve celebrated together. They’ve hurt together. Most importantly, they’ve grown together.
That bond can’t be manufactured.
As coaches, our responsibility reaches far beyond the next tournament. Our mission is to prepare these young men for the baseball they’ll play in eighth grade, ninth grade, and beyond.
We teach the physical side of the game, but we put just as much emphasis on the mental side—how to respond to adversity, how to compete with confidence, how to be a great teammate, and how to carry yourself with character.
The scoreboard matters.
But it isn’t the only thing that matters.
If our players leave the field knowing more than they did when they stepped onto it, if they become mentally tougher, more disciplined, and more prepared for the next challenge, then we’ve already won something bigger than a baseball game.
That’s the standard of this program.
We don’t promise championships.
We promise development.
We don’t chase attention.
We chase growth.
We’re proud of this group, proud of the culture they’ve built, and excited to see where this journey takes us.
