Fitness was something that I always wanted, but never could find the motivation or desire to achieve. I didn't see myself as a person capable of ever putting in the effort. I walk a Color Up race with some friends from work in Nov 2013, and it changed my thoughts about fitness begin fun. I felt motivated to run some 5k, because they looked soooo fun. I started off with walks, moved to walk/runs, a
nd made it to running longer distances. I still find it difficult to motivate myself at times and training by yourself, makes it harder. I created this page in an attempt to find some greater motivation. It hasn't gotten the interest I thought it would, but every little bit helps. Hopefully, I can break through the bad days and continue on my journey to be the motivator that my family needs. I want a healthier, more fit family.
