TO MY KELLER HIGH SCHOOL RODEO TEAM… HERE WE GO!
Amelia Misailov, Ava Wadleigh, Isa Sharkey, Kinley Hill, Marry Reese Harris, Morgan Cozens/Gibson, Saylor Walters, Siena H***e, and Vivian Matthews…
YEPPERS — you read that right! NINE incredible rodeo athletes! And I could not be more excited, honored, and proud to be your Keller High School Rodeo Team Sponsor for the 2026–2027 season!
As we head into our FIRST NTHSRA RODEO OF THE SEASON, I want each of you to remember something:
This season is going to be about SO MUCH MORE than the numbers on a timer, the placings on a results sheet, the points you earn, the buckles you win, or whether every run goes exactly as you planned.
Rodeo has a funny way of teaching us some of life's greatest lessons.
There will be amazing runs that make you want to celebrate all the way home. There may also be knocked barrels, missed goats, broken patterns, horses that decide they have their own plan, and days when absolutely NOTHING seems to go right.
Learn from ALL of it.
Celebrate your victories, but also learn how to handle your disappointments. Be humble when you win and gracious when you don't. Cheer just as loudly for your teammate as you would want her to cheer for you.
Be the girl who notices when another contestant needs help.
Be the girl who says, "Good luck!"
Be the girl who says, "Great run!"
Be the girl who lends a hand without being asked.
Be the girl whose character is remembered long after everyone has forgotten her time.
Because THAT is sportsmanship. THAT is leadership. And THAT is what being part of the Keller High School Rodeo Team should represent.
I hope you build friendships this season that last far beyond high school rodeo. Take the pictures. Laugh together. Help one another. Encourage each other. Make memories in the warm-up pen, at the trailers, in the stands, and during those long rodeo weekends.
And please — take care of those incredible four-legged athletes underneath you. They don't know about points, standings, buckles, or championships. They simply trust you. Love them, thank them, take care of them, and never forget that none of this would be possible without them.
Most importantly, my prayer for every single one of you this season is SAFETY. 🙏
I pray for safe travels to and from every rodeo. I pray for protection over each of our athletes and their horses. I pray for confidence when you enter that arena, courage when things don't go your way, humility when they do, and strength to get back in the saddle when rodeo — or life — knocks you down.
Parents, families, friends, coaches, sponsors, and so many others sacrifice time, money, sleep, weekends, and countless miles to help you chase these dreams. Never forget to say THANK YOU.
Girls, you are representing more than yourselves when you ride into that arena. You represent your families, Keller High School Rodeo Team, and the North Texas High School Rodeo Association. Represent them with pride and class.
And one more thing…
HAVE FUN!
High school goes by unbelievably fast. One day you'll look back and realize these were some of the best days of your life. Don't get so focused on chasing the next win that you forget to enjoy the ride getting there.
So here we go, ladies…
9 athletes.
1 team.
1 brand-new season.
And a whole lot of memories waiting to be made!
Amelia, Ava, Isa, Kinley, Marry Reese, Morgan, Saylor, Siena, and Vivian — I believe in each and every one of you, and I cannot wait to see what this season has in store!
Ride hard.
Stay humble.
Be kind.
Cheer loudly.
Love your horses.
Learn from the hard days.
Celebrate the good ones.
And ALWAYS take care of each other.
LET'S RODEO, KELLER HIGH SCHOOL!
Here's to an AMAZING 2026–2027 NTHSRA RODEO SEASON!
With lots of love, prayers, and Keller Rodeo pride,
