🏆🏆 BACK-TO-BACK STATE CHAMPION. 🏆🏆

Ryland Helms has done it again!

Today, Ryland successfully defended his Texas SCTP State Championship title in International S***t, capturing the 2026 TX SCTP State Championship and helping the Keller Clay Target Team secure an incredible 3-peat in the discipline.

Ryland posted a strong 71/75 in preliminary competition to earn the #1 bib heading into the finals. He then delivered under pressure, shooting 52/60 in the championship round to claim the title.

State championships aren’t won by accident. They are earned through countless hours of practice, dedication, and composure when it matters most. Ryland’s performance is a testament to the work he has put in throughout the year and the championship culture being built within our program.

Congratulations, Ryland, on an outstanding accomplishment and on representing Keller Clay Target Team with excellence!

🏆 STATE CHAMPION ALERT! 🏆

First-year JV athlete Shawn had an incredible showing at the Texas YESS State Championships:

🥇 S***t – 98/100
🥈 Trap – 95/100
🥇 HOA – 276/300

Winning both S***t and High Overall in his first season is an outstanding achievement. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and composure Shawn displayed all season long.

Our KCTT Families & Supporters can order shirts now ($26 + shipping, small portion benefits the club). Orders close MAY 14 so shirts can arrive before State!

This is a shirt design in recognition of a chant one of our board members made popular in 2025/2026 season. We are opening sales for only a few days to ensure shirts can be shipped in time for state (in early June). A very small portion goes back to the club - we appreciate your support.

KCTT has 21 athletes heading into their final regional competition—> and they’re ready.

By the time this weekend wraps, some of these athletes will have sent more than 600 rounds downrange (counting Thursday night practices).

Now it all comes down to the final 100 clay birds.

Each one has an appointment with dust. 💥

As Coach Kara says: “See it. Trust it. Bust it.”

KCTT is still in the thick of Regionals, but let’s pause to celebrate yesterday.

Day 1 had 11 athletes compete and we brought home SEVEN medals. There are more athletes here today - LET’S go KELLER !

What a day!!! 10 of our athletes competed in the Texas SCTP Hare Trigger Trap Refresher, and 6 of them claimed podium finishes. Among the team there were 4 perfect rounds, including a first 25 straight for Jacob Pierce, and a 50 straight for Shawn Csoros! Way to get out there and do wish you all love.
