It’s been so hot outside, Violet has an eye infection that is being treated. Lessons have been busy, lots of spraying down horses , filling water buckets, and training of new volunteers. I am so proud of everyone involved in this program. Even when we are melting we are all in it together.

Today the herd had chiropractor adjustments and the boys had cleanings. A few lessons and volunteers doing chores. Much appreciated in this heat.

35 years young. Violet is having some quiet grazing time today before afternoon lessons. She will welcome everyone with a sloppy kiss and check them for cookies before going back to her paddock. This is what Rescue-repurpose-retire looks like.

It was too hot to get photos. All the boys got shots. Some had their teeth done and I can’t thank our vet Roger O for coming during the heat. It was just gross outside. The herd is now done for the year.
