Next week volleyball will not attend weights as we will be participating and running camp Monday - Thursday.

HS Camp (incoming 9 - 12 *Boys and Girls*) 9am - 11am.

Middle Level (incoming 6 - 8 *Boys and Girls*) 12:30 - 2pm.

Elementary Level (incoming 2 - 5 *Boys and Girls) 2:30 - 4pm.

Sometimes the impact of a team reaches people you would never expect.

Rick has only driven our boys volleyball team to three matches this season, but somehow these boys still left a mark on him that is impossible to explain. When we found out he wasn’t assigned to drive us to the second round of districts, we were disappointed because we specifically requested him. But Rick wasn’t going to miss it. He showed up anyway just to cheer on the boys.

During one of our timeout huddles, the team yelled, “Do it for Rick!” and in that moment it hit me all over again; this program is about so much more than volleyball.

These boys have created something special. They have built relationships, brought joy to people around them, and created a sense of belonging that extends far beyond our gym walls. I truly cannot put into words the impact they have made on this community in just one season.

Every single day with this team is a joy.

Thank you to every person that supported these boys in their first season of volleyball.

To our seniors, you will be missed. You set the foundation for this program to do great things! You were patient, kind, welcoming, and above all great humans!!

Youth Camp for BOYS AND GIRLS is just around the corner and we could not be more excited! This is going to be an incredible opportunity for young athletes to learn the game, build confidence, make new friends, and have an absolute blast doing it. Our players and coaches are ready to bring the energy, teach new skills, and create a fun and positive environment that everyone will remember. You will not want to miss it!

No open gym today!!! We picked up an away game for the boys in Columbia and all coaches will be there. We will be unavailable to be at open gym.

Our last Open Gym will be held on Wednesday (4.29) from 3 - 4:30!

📣 OUR NEW JV COACH 📣

We are excited to welcome Brook Llewellyn into the girl’s JV coaching role for KMO Volleyball. A proud Kearney alum and former varsity player and two time program captain, Brook brings both experience and energy back to the Bulldog program. She has continued to grow her knowledge of the game through coaching at the club level and is currently coaching the boys JV volleyball team, where she is doing a fabulous job.

Brook is committed to building confident, skilled players while creating a positive and supportive team culture. She is using her A+ scholarship to attend Maple Woods, where she is working toward her goal of becoming a Physical Education teacher. Her passion for developing athletes and her pride in Kearney Volleyball make her a perfect fit for this program.

We are thrilled to have her on staff and cannot wait to see the impact she will have as she leads our JV squad in purple and gold.

Today the boys got the chance to play with Callie Schwarzenbach at practice! The excitement on their faces said everything!! Having Callie, a professional volleyball player at Madison (LOVB), in the gym is always a positive. The boys walked away fired up, more confident, and already asking when they get to do it again. Days like today are what make this program so special and so much fun!

OPEN GYM IN CANCELED FOR TONIGHT (4.15). Please spread the word. Storms are bringing outdoor sports inside in about an hour. Those practices will not conclude before our open gym starts. Therefore, we have to cancel our open gym. In season sports trump out of season open gyms.
