Yes, we know it's early. Yes, we know Wisconsin weather can change 17 times before dinner. Yes, we know there will be at least one person who comments, "Looks fine at my house."

But after reviewing approximately 47 weather apps, Brad Spakowitz's Eagle Eye in the Sky, a suspiciously dark cloud, and the collective enthusiasm of the group, we've decided to cancel tonight's ride.

Could the weather clear up? Absolutely. Could we also end up riding directly into a thunderstorm? Also absolutely.

So tonight's official training plan is:
-Stay dry
-Stare notstogically at your Strava
-Tell everyone you totally would have ridden

We'll see everyone on the next ride when Mother Nature decides to stop being dramatic.

The Recyclist is now a Trek Bicycle Dealer!

This year, Trek celebrates 50 years of bikes right here in Wisconsin. As a shop that has called Wisconsin home for 28 years, partnering with another company that believes in local communities, great products, and getting more people on bikes just feels right.

For nearly three decades, you've trusted The Recyclist to help your kids learn to ride, get you to the starting line of your first race, outfit your family for trail adventures, and keep your favorite bike rolling. That commitment isn't changing and we will still be offering the same great products we have since the 90s. We're simply adding a great Wisconsin brand to the family.

Whether you're a lifelong Trek rider or just stopping by to talk cycling, we're excited to welcome you in.

From Waterloo to Kaukauna, we're proud to celebrate Wisconsin bike culture and the communities that make it special.

🚨 Official Statement from the Directeur Sportif 🚨

After extensive weather analysis, multiple espresso consultations, and a highly scientific review of radar images while staring out the shop windows, today's group ride has been canceled.

While some riders argued that "it's just a little rain," our legal department (which is also me) determined that soggy socks, filthy drivetrains, and the possibility of spending 3 hours discussing who almost crashed do not align with team objectives.

We appreciate your cooperation during this difficult time and look forward to resuming normal operations.
