Milagros says, “I choose Dr. D for teacher of the week because I really enjoy having her class. She is always including her students, making sure we understand the lesson before moving on. She creates opportunities for students to improve their grade.”

Alexa says, “My teacher of the week is Ms. Rendon. She is very kind and helping. She would take time to let us think of an answer, or possibly if we didn’t know, she would come back to us. She is very encouraging and makes class easier.”

Maria says, “I would like to nominate Ms. Rendon for TOTW. I believe she deserves this award because she makes her class feel like a safe space and makes lessons entertaining with her sense of humor.”

Proud of our Spartans for advancing to playoffs in the King Soccer summer league again this year! We lost in the semi-finals today to the eventual champs Cy Fair, but the girls put up another great showing. Olivia Montoya led the offense with 5 goals coming off 3 assists from Gaby Valladares.
