How to get ahead of 90% before evening starting your workout: Plan for success

Go into a workout with a plan of what your workout is going to be. It doesn't have to be ultra specific. A general "it's leg day" plan is better than nothing. You know you're going in and doing lifts targeted at improving your leg strength. Simple, easy.

“What should I focus on when I workout?” Great question and the answer lies within your goals.

Is your goal to lose weight? Strength training and cardio
Is your goal to improve muscle definition? Strength training and cardio
Is your goal to improve strength? Strength training and cardio

While all the “answers” appear the same, they are merely similar.

In general:
Lose weight = 50% strength training, 50% cardio
Improve muscle definition = 75% strength training, 25% cardio
Improve strength = 90% strength training, 10% cardio

There is no one size fits all plan or strategy. What’s right for you is dependent on your goals and your ability to execute your plan.

Determine your goals, determine your plan, execute your plan.
