Out here at Boost & BBQ 2026. We had some transmission issues on Thursday, had it rebuilt and back in the car by Friday at midnight. We also made some other cleanup repairs. Back at the track by 11am Saturday, to make one qualifying pass to see what the car would do. Welp, just went a PB of 5.03 @ 147 mph!!

Hot Summer Nights Lived up to its name on Saturday! First time attending the race and it was HOT! Worked all week making some suspension changes and even some last minute tire change from Joesph Thomas on Thursday night before we loaded up.

Friday night we seen progress with the changes. The car went down all weekend in the heat as we continued making some tune up changes along the way. Lance Draeger was killer on the laptop once again.

Saturday test session didn’t start till about 5:30pm, the track was hot and the car went straight and didn’t loose the tire which was a good thing as we have been fighting that this year when we tried to add power. Made another test pass and Keeton went his Personal best in the car a 5.21. We were feeling good with that pass as it was a 5.23 chip draw. First round was about 11:15pm. Everything was great until it wasn’t…….burnout everything was fine until it was time to stage and we had no transbrake. Well that’s racing for you everything is going well and then it’s not. We had a great time spent with great friends hanging out and enjoying the race!
