Since starting PKC 4v4 Indoor, I quickly realized this lacrosse format is exactly what we need more of... Tight space. Smaller teams. Quicker decisions. Faster Actions. Faster Reads. Faster Brain Activity. More awareness of action. Pattern Recognition. Predictive Lacrosse thinking. And tons of fun.
But I also want to achieve a couple of more goals this Winter Season.
I want to increase the internal compete of Kansas City Lacrosse.
We need smaller internal teams with dedicated coaches who want to grow their team, compete internally with peers, and beat each other.
I want to further break down the local community wall, enhancing better friendships throughout the community and fostering more belonging within the lacrosse community.
We must get back to the basics. The foundations... The Fundamentals... And do them extremely well, and at the speed required to be successful... No matter what field we’re on.
Re-institute the proper learning cycle and Cadence (Proud Sponsor of the KCHBL).
Play —> Learn —> Grow —> Play —> Learn —> Grow —> Repeat
Finally, and most importantly, increase the internal level of competition in Kansas City
No, saying this twice was not a mistake.
All while playing the fastest, most fun lacrosse format according to those participating in our current indoor sessions.
