On this day, June 6, 1944, thousands of brave young men from across the Allied nations stormed the beaches of Normandy in the largest amphibious invasion in history.
Facing impossible odds, they fought for freedom, for their families, and for a world that would no longer live under tyranny.
Eighty-two years later, we pause to remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the debt we can never fully repay.
To every veteran of that day and every soul who never made it home: Thank you. We will never forget.
Lest we forget.
