Newberry Youth Baseball is a player centered program focused on developing young players through the fundamentals of baseball and providing them with the skills and knowledge to play with a competitive edge. It is a parent organized system, partnered with Newberry Parks and Recreation to provide affordable higher level baseball teams. As a lifelong learner and continued sports enthusiast, I know first-hand how important these fundamentals of group sports and learning to be coachable athletes is. Our focus is not only on our players on the field but off the field as well, helping to shape the younger generation into well rounded individuals. We are also partnered with a foundation that strives to help teach leadership skills, combat juvenile delinquency and give underprivileged and economically challenged children to play at a higher level.
