🍞SWEET AND SAVORY JAPANESE MILK BREADS ON OAHU
📍 Coco’s Cravings 808, LLC
You can find these Japanese-style milk breads on Oahu.
Coco’s Cravings 808, LLC specializes in soft milk breads, used to make sweet or savory treats. The business is most famous for its Cocobonz, or cinnamon rolls using Japanese-style milk bread dough. 🍞
For a typical pop-up, the business usually makes around 90 cinnamon rolls in addition to other flavors. It also features savory breads and shortbread Crumbarz. Crumbarz are buttery shortbread cookies in different flavors, including lemon, peanut butter cookies and cream, and pumpkin V2. Pumpkin was intended to be seasonal, but it’s back by popular demand.
🧀Savory options include ham and cheese savory milk bread, and pizza rolls. This savory milk bread is filled with mozzarella, pepperoni and housemade pizza sauce.🍕
The newest milk bread flavor is ube Chantilly bonz, which is a triple collaboration with ube halaya from Sheila’s Den LLC and Hau'oli Pastry LLC’s handcrafted Chantilly cream.
The business pops up at various events across the island. They’re usually at Central Pacific Plaza’s Tidepools event regularly, and will be at Ono Grindz and Makeke at Wai Kai on June 11.
