First picture is of the 8 blades that were heat treated before we went to Vegas. They have been finish belt ground to a belt satin finish. Next up for them is to hand sand the flats, make the scales and sheaths for them. The next picture is of the next batch of knives that were heat treated this past week. Luckily I got all the blades heat treated before my thermocouple crapped out causing my heat treat kiln to be down. Hopefully I can get intouch with the manufacturer in the morning. The last picture are of some proto type G10 knives i made today.

After a week off hanging out in Vegas, I needed to get back to working on knives. It was a productive day. I still have the chopper to finish and picked up 3 more orders while on vacation. Today I went and prepped the next 8 knives that are up for heat treatment. Unfortunately I ran out of heat treating foil so those 3 knives will have to wait until I get restocked. So the 8 in the picture were heat treated before I left and are up for grabs when they are finished. If no interest, they will go into the October Gunshow stock. Now that I am back from vacation it is time to get back to work. First things first is the important task of keeping up with adding sticker swag to the old compressor. I've been slacking on adding the new swag from the different companies. If you see your sticker on the tank shoot me a comment.

From Saturday. I started to contour the handle for the chopper I am working on and I rough ground these 2 Trailing Point Stingers for another build. Monday night I finish ground the 2 Stingers and put a belt sating finish using the Scotch Brite belt. I need to hand sand the flats and then it will be ready for scales.

Some progress on the last 2 builds of the 8 that went on hold because of the gunshow. The cleaver I'm thinking of a hidden tang and the ring Seax is just about done. It needs hand sanding of the flats and engraving. Playing around with the engraver doing a test run that will be engraved on a future build. It will be engraved on one of the 10 in the last post.
