We are on the road at Elk Rapids in a HUGE NSC matchup tonight at 7pm!

The Blazers were on the road last night taking on the Grayling Vikings.

From the opening whistle, our guys came out ready and controlled the game throughout the first half. We were able to create opportunities, apply pressure, and finish our chances as we carried a 7-0 lead into halftime.

Grayling came out with some quick pressure to start the second half and was able to get a goal back, making it 7-1. Our guys settled back in and regained control. We were able to add two more goals and come away with a 9-1 victory.

Another great team effort and another opportunity for this group to continue building on the work they’ve put in all season.

We’re right back on the road Thursday for one of our biggest games of the season as we take on Elk Rapids at 7:00 PM.

The Blazers were on the road last night to take on the #6 ranked Harbor Springs Rams, and we knew we were in for a tough matchup. The boys, however, were ready for the challenge.

From the opening whistle, this was a fast-paced battle with both teams looking to create early opportunities. The first half was back and forth, with both teams having chances to find the back of the net, but neither team was able to capitalize. We went into halftime tied 0-0, feeling good about where we were, but knowing we would have to continue to fight for the result in the second half.

Early in the second half, the Blazers created a few opportunities of our own, while Harbor Springs continued to attack early and often. Our defense stepped up in a big way, holding their ground and refusing to let the Rams break through.

And when they did get through, Tyson Steiner was there to make the save. Tyson had an outstanding night in goal, coming up with several highlight-worthy saves on his way to recording 10 saves and earning the shutout.

After 80 minutes of battling, the game ended in a hard-fought 0-0 tie.

We could not be more proud of this group and the fight they continue to show. We know what these boys are capable of, and last night they showed themselves exactly what we have known all along. They had a huge task in front of them against one of the top teams in the league, and they answered the challenge perfectly.

The Blazers continue to surprise the top teams in the league, but we aren't done yet. We know what the next two weeks have in store, and this team is ready for the challenge.

We are back at home tomorrow at 5:00 PM for another important conference matchup against Kingsley. Come out and support the boys!

The Blazers were back at home last night, taking on the Ramblers from Boyne City, and came out ready from the opening whistle. We controlled the middle of the field, applied pressure early and often, and never let up.

From start to finish, the boys fought hard and played a complete game. Our midfield was a huge key to our success, controlling the pace and helping create opportunities, while our defense played a solid game from beginning to end.
We’re incredibly proud of the way this team continues to grow, compete, and play for one another. There is still so much more to come from this group, and we’re excited to see where this season takes them!

The Blazers came away with a 7-1 victory! ⚽️💪
Goals were scored by Milo, Hanza, and Asher, with the entire team contributing to a great night of soccer.

Tomorrow, we hit the road and travel to Cheboygan, looking to build on last night’s performance and keep the momentum going.
