Happy Anniversary 🎉

Today Delano and I celebrate our 9th anniversary. I purchased him the day before Thanksgiving 2016. He was 8 and understood the fundamentals of second level dressage but didn't have much strength or know what true impulsion was. Over the years, we have spent long hours together in the arena, on trails, in the show ring and just having fun around Washington State and Montana. Along with a successful dressage career in the FEI ring, Delano has also dabbled at barrel racing, sorting cattle, low level jumpers and eventing. I am beyond grateful for the years we've had together thus far. He will be 18 this spring but still loves arena work and has some show years left in him.

Here's to Delano!! The beautiful Dutch Warmblood, who is always a barn favorite and has been a sound, reliable partner for many years ❤️

I had a great time showing Freddie Mercury EDI, owned by Shelby Vercio, back in May. We took home the First Level Champion title with a 75%! Watch till the end of the video to see our stretching circle which received a 10!!!

So proud of my western dressage ladies for kicking ass this summer at our local schooling show series. Liessa Nye of Liessa's Essential Horsecare took home the championship ribbon for the entire dressage division! Dawn LaRee Dunk was close behind her on her mare Dusty. They both performed well consistently throughout the 3 part series. Good work ladies!!

I am so excited for my client, Shari Sego, and her new horse Leonardo! He is a 3 year old Andalusian we picked up from Canada this spring. He is just two months under saddle and is doing wonderful. Very sweet and willing and will be a great partner for her. No one deserves it more than Shari!

Congratulations to my student Jessica Keck for another success show season! Last year Jessica earned her USDF Bronze Medal and this year she ended the 2022 season as the 4th level Adult Amateur Region 6 Reserve Champion. She and her seven year old gelding, Kochelli, have a bright future ahead to be sure!
