Spotlight: Kru Scotty Olson has been training under Johnny and is currently working towards his full instructorship. Scotty is a busy family man and business owner here on the north shore, nevertheless, he is always the first person to the gym and the last to leave. Scottys passion and commitment to this school and its students is unparalleled. He consistently shows up to the gym with a smile on his face. His kindness and positivity radiates and is a benefit to us all. We appreciate and respect the heart Scotty puts into everything he does here at HAMA.

Spotlight: Kru Johnny Miller has over 15 years experience in the Martial Arts. He has had multiple fights in the ring and has competed at the top level. As a long-time student of Kru Will Bernales he’s had the opportunity to train under many notable artists including G**o Dan Inosanto, Greg Nelson, Erik Paulson, Billy Robinson, Brandon Kiser, Brian Yamasaki and is currently an instructor under Ajarn Chai. Johnny is a 3rd degree Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and working towards his black belt. He loves working with kids and adults of all ages to introduce them to the benefits of Martial Arts.

Every year we are lucky enough to have Kru Will Bernales, from Bernales Institute of Martial Arts in Salt Lake City, come out to share his knowledge and skills in Martial Arts. Will has been teaching and training in multiple martial arts for more than 25 years and is an active member and instructor in five international martial arts organizations. These images are from the Second Annual H.A.M.A. Seminar with Kru Will. In February this year.
