Kahana Canoe Club Kahana Canoe Club is an outrigger paddling club founded in 1976 located in Lahaina at Hanaka’ō’ō Beach Park All ages are welcome.

We are located at Hanakao'o Beach (Canoe Beach) in the green hale.

Kahana Canoe Club practices are starting THIS WEEK 🥳

Adults kick off tomorrow at 5:00pm. If you can’t make it, just show up to any practice 15 minutes early so we can get you sorted with registration before we hit the water.

Keiki paddling is FREE
Adults: $100

Practice schedule:

Keiki — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 3:30pm
Adults — Monday, Wednesday, Thursday at 5:30am & 5:00pm

Mahalo nui for bearing with us through these storms, we had to pivot a bit with everything going on. Hope you and your ʻohana are safe.

We know this season and registration came up quick and we didn’t give much notice, but we’re coming back strong and want you to be a part of it. 😉

If you can’t make these registration days, that’s totally okay, just come down 15 mins early to practice and we’ll get you set up.

💜 Keiki Practice starts: March 30 at 3:30pm
(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

💚Adult Practice starts: March 30 at 5:00pm
We’ll be doing a registration + intro on Monday.
(Monday, Wednesday, Thursday- 5:30am and 5:00pm)

Join us under the Kahana tent for a full day of fun and community!

Start your morning with breakfast and baked goods, plus Sanna and Kalei’s famous coffee, come by and show your support!

Lunch will be available from Aloha Braised and Penne Pasta lunch trucks.

We’ll also have:

Important Dates Coming Up 🌈

Saturday, February 22nd 10:00am: all club 2024 General Membership meeting. Elections for Board Members. We are looking for a President and Vice President and general Board Members. If you want to be on the board or nominate someone please reach out to Katie.

Saturday, March 1st 9:00am: Hanaka‘ō‘ō Beach clean up with Lāhainā Strong and the other clubs. We have a dumpster coming from Malama Maui Nui, as well as plants being donated to spruce up the area. We will have a keiki corner and lunch will be provided. Please wear closed toed shoes, bring sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle.

Please join us Saturday, December 7th 8:30 at Hanaka‘ō‘ō Beach to celebrate the life of this legendary man, Uncle John Kuia.

Paddle out will be at 10:00am.
